WHERE THE DAY BEGINS
The Tonga Archipelago with its around 170 islands – coral islands and islands of volcanic origin alike – lies on the date line north of New Zealand.
The kingdom is geographically part of Polynesia. The way of life is relaxed and originally away from the crowds of tourists , which is not least due to the relatively complex journey.
The main island of Tongatapu is surrounded by lagoons and limestone cliffs and offers pure beach holidays, fascinating coral reefs and pristine rainforest around the capital Nuku’alofa.
